December 8 – Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan
On 5th of December 2018, at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, at the Faculty of Economy and Policy of Foreign Countries was held an event dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Haydarali Malievichб the teacher of the Department of “The history of the theory of State and Law” of Tashkent State University of Law made speech on “The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the foundation of a democratic state of law”. During the lecture, it was talked about the role oc Constitution in state and public administration, in ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens, in economic reforms, in building a democratic state and a strong civil society, and in changes in every sphere in general. It was noted that the Constitution provides for the freedom of human life, honor and dignity of a person recognized as the highest value, it establishes the superiority of human interests over the interests of the state, the rule of law and political pluralism. During the event was held a quiz “Constitution scholar”, where students Bakhromov Muhammadali and Juraev Sardor became the winners. The winners were given souvenirs and Juraev Sardor performed his poem dedicated to our Constitution. At the end of the lecture, the head of the Department of “World Politics and International Relations” D.Sayfullayev thanked the guest for the visit and noted that holding of such events greatly help the students to get more knowledge and broaden thier point of view.
