MEMORY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN ISLAM KARIMOV

At Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies was hold an event which was devoted to the great statesman and politician, the respectable and honorable son of Uzbek people Islam Karimov. The event was attended by authorities, teaching staff, personnel and students of the University.

The rector of the University Prof. Abdurahim Mannonov noted that the great politician and wise reformer Islam Karimov with his multiform activity in the name of independence and development of the country, wellbeing of our nation made a history of our native land. Finding by Uzbekistan deserved place in international community, safeguarding of peace and security – all of it relates to the name of Islam Karimov.

Prof. Jumayev Rustam noted the talent, foresight, wisdom, courage and generosity of the first president which became to all of us the sample of endless love and devotion to the country and nation.

Islam Karimov’s scholarship holder Niyozaliyev Jasur in his speech noted the great services of the first president in building of independent Uzbekistan, the nation rightly relates all achieved during the independence colossal success with the name and activity of Islam Karimov.
