The national army is our pride and support

On 15^th of January 2019, at Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies was held an event in honor of the 27th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland. The event was attended by personnel, teaching staff and students of our institute, veterans of Afghan war, Colonel Soliev Murad Kodirovich, Prof. Abdullaev Yusuf Negmatovich, teachers of the military department of the National University of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant Colonel Safarov Bobir Khudoyberganovich, Lieutenant Colonel Shohobitdin Vohidzhon, Lieutenant Abduvaliev Sherzod Abdukahkhorovich, veterans of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan Colonel Kharlamov Alexander Nikolaevich, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Physicians Ochilov Shavkat Dzhumaevich, head of the sports complex Gaybullaev Ismatulla Gaybullaevich and other guests.

The Rector of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Prof. Abdurahim Mannonov opened the event. Lt. Col. B. Safarov awarded students of our institute studying at the military department at National University of Uzbekistan. Then Colonel R. Tashhodjaev, a member of the council of veterans of the Ministry of Defense and a veteran of the armed forces A. Kharlamov made a congratulatory speech and spoke about the role of our armed force and congratulated everyone with the holiday.

The art program, which was prepared by students was accompanied by songs, stage performances, etc. Speakers noted that love and devotion to the Motherland are the duty of every citizen of the country and their inspired speech made a big impression on the participants of the event.
