TSIOS visited by academician of Abu Rayhan al-Biruni Institute of Oriental Studies

On 1 March 2018 Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a visit by academician Dr. Dilorom Yusupova.

At University the guest was received with the Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Prof. Abdurahim Mannanov. The meeting was also attended by the academic staff and students. The conversation mainly focused on research directions of the manuscripts.

Dr. Dilorom Yusupova made speech about the research of the manuscripts, features, results of the researches which were done during the long period. In particular, the results of researches of life and works of middle age historians like: Muhammad Khwandamir, Mirkhond, the heritage of astronomer Mirza Muhammad Tarag’ay bin Sha’hrukh, better known as Ulugh Beg, and the work of Faslh Khwaff Mujmal-i-fasihi.
